For the first time since 2019, the entire Nanaimo Christian School graduating class, families and staff were able to gather in person for the commencement ceremony and other annual traditions this June. And what a celebration it was!

It began with the Class of 2022 donning their gowns for the annual Grad Walk through school hallways where staff and students cheered and gave high-fives. This year the grads were joined by their Kindergarten little buddies for the Grad Walk.

The Grad Walk was followed by a meaningful commencement ceremony with teachers who know the grads so well blessing each one with specific encouragement and a Bible verse. The ceremony was followed by a photo session at the downtown waterfront and an evening banquet at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.

Congratulations, Class of 2022! You did it! We're so proud of you! God bless you as you shine your light in this world, in whatever way or place that may be.

"Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever." Daniel 12:3

To all the parents, foster parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, pastors and youth pastors who have loved and supported these kids unconditionally ... You did it! It truly takes a village to raise a child, and these kids have an amazing village around them.
