This week we welcomed parents and grandparents into the Nanaimo Christian School gym once again for the Grade 3-5 performance of their student-produced opera. This year's theme was 'The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe' based on the book by C.S. Lewis.
The annual show brings together all six classrooms in a production where students tell a story through song and performance. Students wrote and played the songs, designed and built the props, created costumes, and they even ran the lighting, sound and slides.
"The production was very impressive. Congratulations to all the students and staff who clearly have worked very hard." -- Brian Robertson, NCS grandparent
A big thank you goes to all of the students and staff in Grades 3-5 for their hard work and to Mrs. Melanie Vanstone, our elementary music teacher, who helped students produce such a great show!
