Introducing our newest middle school teacher at NCS.
Over the next couple of weeks we'll be introducing new staff members joining our team at Nanaimo Christian School. Help us give them a warm welcome!
Meet Mme. Kelsey Nudd! Here are 7 things you need to know about her.
1) New position at NCS

2) Before coming to NCS
Before coming to NCS I worked part time for the school district teaching French immersion but I've mostly been home with my kids for the last 10 years! Now that they're all in school and more independent I feel better prepared to get back into teaching.
3) Favorite thing about teaching
I love forming relationships with the students in my class and watching them succeed when they learn something new.
4) If I were a crayon ...
I'd be black. When used as an outline, black really helps the other colours to stand out.
5) Secret talent or party trick
Okay, this may not win me any prizes but I am excellent at estimating the size of the tupperware I will need for leftovers. Not too big, not too small. It's a real talent.
6) Hobbies
My hobbies are running and playing volleyball, and exploring the beach or the woods. I also love to travel and hope I'll be able to one day soon!
7) God has been teaching me
God has been teaching me to hold my plans loosely. I may think I know what direction my life is going to go but God may have other plans and I need to be flexible.
